Hayden

Sun is a star.
On the moon there are mountians and craters.
Lunar cycle starts with new moon.
Astronauts are people that go in to outer space .
Rotating the sun takes 365 days.

Sun gives us seasons.
You live on Earth because it is the only planet that can support life.
Some places only have two seasons like the equator has wet and dry. The poles have day and night.
There are four rockey planets and four gas giants.
Eight planets in the solar system are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
Mercury is the first planet in the solar system. It is the the clocest to the sun.

You used some of the lyrics to the Shoulder of Giants song, "On the moon there are mountain and craters." Good connection! I'm glad you remembered the differences between the seasons at the equator and poles.

Hmmmm one thing I can say is great way to summerise all the planets :]. I also like how you also wrote well in this case typed about wet and dry seasons =). You did a great job showing your facts. I think the best thing you wrote in there is about the gas giants and rocky planets. Nce job putting the planets i order ,but for a second i thought you forgot about mercury hehe ^-^.

dear hyden,
This is my third time trying to post. Anyway I really like how you summerised your facts. My favorite part about this is when you told all the planets in order and for a second I thought you forgot murcury hehe. I also like how you told about the wet season and dry season. It's nice to have someone reteach everything we learned =).

That is the best acrostic poem I've read! You've remembered everything you've learned. From the poles to the solar system.
I like the way you summerized everything!
