Our planet Earth is one of the eight planets in the Solar System

Rocky planets are Mercury,Venus, Earth, Mars
Shadows can be long or short depending on the suns positions in the sky
You can look into space with a telescope
Saturn is a big gas planet with large rings
The gas planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune
Each planet shares a name with a Roman God
Mercury is the planet the closet to the sun but Mercury is not the hottest planet, Venus is.
